Biddulph, Staffordshire

Known as the Garden Town of Staffordshire. There are award winning floral displays a country park and there are many special events such as folk festivals and markets.


Originally Biddulph was a mining town and has much history linked to the area.

The town is small but does offer the usual facilities in a lovely setting. There are many shops, cafes and pubs to enjoy your visit.


Biddulph Valley Way was once a railway connecting to nearby Stoke on Trent and Congleton, it is now a cycle track on the national cycle network. You can enjoy a bike ride, go walking or on horseback to enjoy this lovely countryside.

Biddulph Valley Leisure Centre offers swimming, fitness classes, squash and a dance studio.

Biddulph Grange Garden a Victorian garden created by James Bateman a collector of specimens from around the world. He described the garden as 'a garden to amaze and delight' well worth a visit.


Biddulph Grange Country Park. Go to the visitor centre where you can learn all about the Grange, there are many walks including, a Hydroelectric walk. There is lots of wildlife and plenty to see.


Greenway Bank & Knypersley Country Parks offer some pretty walks around the water and the head of the river Trent.
